Workplace Visit – Econowind Production Site Zeewolde (NL)

A workplace visit highlighting innovation, cooperation, and progress in green shipping

On 25 August, our Wind4Shipping project partners visited the Econowind Production Site in Zeewolde. This visit was part of our ongoing collaboration to advance green shipping and upscale the production of wingsails.

From research to production: partners join forces to accelerate sustainable shipping technologies.

Representatives from Bijlsma, NHL Stenden, our lead partner Province of Fryslân and  Hochschule Emden/Leer joined the visit. Together, we explored the production backbone of our partner Econowind and discussed how logistics and work instructions can support scaling up wingsail production in the coming years.
