We are pleased to share some great news: WASP, the earlier project followed by Wind4Shipping, has been featured in the European Commission’s brochure “Accelerating Europe’s Clean Industrial Transition” as an example of a successful European project.
This is a great achievement and important recognition of the work done through WASP. Many thanks to all who contributed, especially the WASP partners who are also involved in W4S: Econowind, Boomsma Shipping and the Wind Ship Association.
With Wind4Shipping, we are building further on the work started through WASP, and we hope to see W4S featured in future European Commission communications as well.
The State of the Union speech will take place on 16 September, when Ursula von der Leyen will address the European Parliament. It will be interesting to see whether WASP is mentioned.
